This is a multimedia guide to the city where the two-time Nobel prize-winning scientist Maria Skłodowska-Curie was born and raised – before she left for France to complete her education and carry out her remarkable career. The audio portion of this guide – in six language versions – was written and produced along with Warsaw-based screenwriter and British television presenter Anna Piwowarska – all part of the city of Warsaw’s 2011 Year of Maria Skłodowska-Curie celebrations.
